You’ll set up, operate, and maintain high‑precision molding equipment to produce sealing components that meet strict quality, dimensional, and cleanliness standards.You’ll be involved in the full production cycle—from material preparation and mold setup to part handling, inspection, and final packaging—working in a controlled manufacturing environment. This is a hands‑on role where operational excellence, consistency, and safety matter every day.What You’ll DoMold Setup & OperationSet up and operate molding machines according to production specificationsMonitor production runs and adjust parameters to optimize cycle times and qualityMaterial & Tooling ManagementPrepare and handle raw materials to prevent contaminationInspect molds and tooling for wear or damage and coordinate maintenance as neededProduct Handling & Quality ControlPrepare parts and perform quality checks at each stage of productionVerify finished products meet dimensional, cleanliness, and workmanship standardsPartner with the Quality team to address any deviations or nonconformancesEquipment Maintenance & TroubleshootingPerform routine equipment maintenanceDiagnose and respond to process issues to minimize downtimeAct as a first responder to production disruptions and collaborate with MaintenanceSafety & ComplianceFollow all safety protocols and PPE requirementsMaintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free work areaImmediately report unsafe conditions or concernsDocumentation & Team CollaborationAccurately record production data and key performance metricsSupport continuous improvement initiativesParticipate in team meetings and assist with training new team membersPerform other duties as assigned to support operational goalsWhat You BringRequired QualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience in a molding or manufacturing environmentHands‑on experience with machine setup, operation, troubleshooting, and basic maintenanceAbility to inspect parts and verify conformance to specificationsStrong attention to detail and commitment to consistent qualityFamiliarity with manufacturing safety standards and proper use of PPEAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring manual dexterityDesired QualificationsCertification in molding, machine operation, or related manufacturing technologyExperience with inspection techniques and quality standardsStrong commitment to safety, punctuality, and meeting production goalsTeam‑oriented mindset with the ability to work cooperatively in a production environmentExperience & EducationHigh school diploma or GED requiredMinimum 2 years of experience in a molding, manufacturing, or production environment preferredAdditional technical, vocational, or trade training in manufacturing, molding, machine operation, or industrial technology is a plusBasic proficiency with computer systems and digital tools used in manufacturing environmentsMicrosoft Office / Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word)Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, email)Ability to accurately enter production data, complete documentation, and follow written work instructionsWillingness to learn new systems, processes, and production technologiesWhat We OfferHourly pay range: $25.00–$29.00 non-exempt (based on skills, experience, and business needs)Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matching9 paid holidays plus paid time offWork-Life Balance Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Stable, full‑time employment in a safety‑focused, process‑driven environmentAt Pacific Rubber, customer experience is engineered intentionally, thoughtfully, and together.If you’re detail‑driven, customer‑focused, and want to work somewhere your expertise truly matters, we’d love to meet you.
