Vice President of Human ResourcesA growing, private-equity-backed industrial manufacturing company in the Chicagoland area is seeking a hands-on Vice President of Human Resources to lead its multi-site HR function.This is a high-impact leadership role for an HR executive who understands complex, multi-location operations and knows how to improve recruiting, retention, workforce planning, and employee engagement in a large hourly workforce environment.The ideal candidate will be a business-oriented HR leader who can operate strategically with the CEO and executive team while also being highly engaged with operations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the HR function across a multi-site industrial operating environment.Develop and implement recruiting and retention strategies for a large hourly workforce.Partner with leaders and senior executives to improve staffing, retention, performance, and workforce stability.Use HR metrics, workforce data, and business KPIs to identify trends and recommend solutions.Present HR strategy, workforce trends, and key initiatives to executive leadership and the board.Lead and develop a regional and plant-level HR team.Ensure HR policies, employee relations, compliance, compensation, benefits, and performance management practices support the company’s growth objectives.Ideal Candidate Profile15+ years of progressive HR experience.Strong background in manufacturing, distribution, industrial services, or another high-volume operating environment.Proven experience improving recruiting and retention for hourly employees.Experience leading HR across multiple sites and multiple states.Strong data, metrics, and financial competency.Comfortable presenting to CEOs, senior executives, and board members.Hands-on, proactive leadership style.Able to operate in a fast-paced, lean, growth-oriented environment.Willing to travel Preferred BackgroundBilingual English/Spanish.MBA or advanced degree.Experience with HR systems.Based in the broader Chicagoland area.
