This role will be focused on developing process controls, standard work and managing technology roadmaps to align with the industry and customer needs. In addition, leading material and equipment qualifications to support manufacturing a quality product.\n\nDuties:\nLead process development, documentation, and implementation for new technology and processes.\nExecute operational and process qualifications for new or existing processes.\nDevelop adequate controls for all processes, monitor Cpk and eliminate process variation.\nLead monitoring, auditing and reporting of site processes through use of metrics\nLead DFx Guideline Development to support optimal manufacturability and fulfill DFx requests\nSupport New Customer/Product Introductions\nSupport failure analysis\nLead defining the site capabilities roadmap and integrate customer technology roadmaps\nLead the development of Process Engineering resources\nAssures that customer and company standards are being met, while adhering to the Quality Management System.\nAttend conferences, seminars, and training as required.\nSupports the development of a safe, ergonomic, and environmentally sound workplace.\nSupports and adheres to the Quality Management System\nTravel to suppliers and customers as required.\nMust be an ITAR Compliant US Person.\nPerforms other duties as assigned\n\nEducation/Certifications:\nBS Degree in a related Engineering discipline required.\nLean and/or Six Sigma Certification preferred.\n\nExperience:\nMust have solid process engineering experience in the printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) industry in a high-reliability environment; contract manufacturing experience a plus.\nStrong leadership and coaching/mentoring skills\nStrong organizational and communication skills - written and verbal\nMust have excellent problem solving skills and possess good analytical, verbal and written communication skills\nExperience with customers on identifying and suggesting DFx opportunities.\nExperience with RoHS and familiar with IPC-610 and J-STD-001 workmanship standards.\nMust demonstrate flexibility, self-direction, and self-discipline to plan and accomplish objectives and meet deadlines with limited supervision.\nExhibits a “Can-Do” attitude and actively seeks for solutions to problems; good team player with pleasant personality.\n\nPhysical/Mental Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while operating testing equipment and reviewing technical documents.\nRegularly moves within the production floor to support testing activities and access test fixtures or equipment.\nFrequently operates and adjusts test equipment, including DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and ATE systems.\nOccasionally positions self to access and troubleshoot equipment at varying heights.\nCommunicates effectively with team members and supervisors to provide updates and resolve testing issues.\nOccasionally moves and transports tools, components, or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.\n\nApplication Process: If you are excited about this opportunity and believe you have the skills and experience required, we encourage you to apply.
