This role involves administrative, procedural, and operational tasks to ensure projects are completed efficiently and in compliance with company standards and client requirements.\n\nThis role is based at our headquarters in Meridian, Idaho.\n\nESI covers 100% of the medical premium for all employees and families.\n\nGreat upward mobility for career growth\n\nResponsibilities\nRepresent ESI as an ambassador to clientele, design teams, city officials, and subcontractors.\n\nProvide administrative support to the project management team, including subcontract and purchase order administration, and change management.\n\nSupport all aspects of a construction project, including preconstruction, bidding, construction/operations, project close-out, and warranty.\n\nManage project documentation control, including organizing, maintaining, and updating plans (ASI’s, CCD’s, etc.), RFI’s and responses, submittals, correspondence, logs, and taking and distributing meeting minutes.\n\nParticipate in bid activities, including bid review, securing adequate scope coverage, and estimating.\n\nAssist Project Managers and Superintendents by creating and maintaining project schedules.\n\nRepresent the project management team in meetings and perform delegated tasks as directed.\n\nDraft subcontracts and scope exhibits and assist in the distribution and tracking of related paperwork.\n\nSupport the change management process by requesting, tracking, and reviewing subcontractor pricing, and drafting subcontractor change orders.\n\nMake a positive contribution to ESI’s culture and actively participate in company events and programs.\n\nQualifications\n\nStrong technical knoweledge of low and medium voltage electrical systems.\n\nBachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering discipline.\n\n5-10 years of electical engineering experience.\n\nGeneral knowledge of reviewing electrical drawings, specifications, procurement packages, and submittals.\n\nExperience supporting elctrical construction.\n\nCan effectively search, navigate, and interpret contract documents (plans, specifications, RFI’s, ASI’s, CCD’s, etc.).\n\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs; specifically, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.\n\nDemonstrates leadership, integrity, perseverance, reliability, respect and self-discipline.\n\nDemonstrates personal motivation, initiative, and potential for growth\n\nShows an aptitude for management and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.\n\nAbility to maintain a high level of confidentiality.\n\nPossesses organizational skills and is detail oriented.\n\nCurrent safety certifications, including OSHA 10-hour (desired).\n\nWorking Conditions\nThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of what a Electrical Engineer will encounter while performing the essential functions of this job.\n\nFast-paced working environment,\n\nWorking environment may be busy and noisy.\n\nManage several projects at one time.\n\nThis position may occasionally require outdoor work, with exposure to various weather conditions.\n\nThis role may occasionally require working in high, precarious places; near fumes or airborne particles; and handling toxic or caustic chemicals. There is also a risk of electrical shock and vibration in certain situations.\n\nInterrupted frequently to meet the needs and request of team members, and outside vendors.\n\nPhysical Demands\nThis position may require frequent travel by motor vehicle.\n\nThe role may involve extended hours on construction sites, necessitating physical stamina to move around the premises.\n\nThe ability to lift and/or move materials and tools is essential, with a maximum weight limit of 50lbs. These tasks may vary and are not required to be performed daily.\n\nEffective and professional communication and interaction with supervisors, employees, and others, whether individually or in a team environment, are vital aspects of the role.\n\nAdherence to safety protocols and the ability to follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment guidelines, and company policies, are necessary for performing work safely and effectively.\n\nTravel Requirements\nMay occasionally be required to travel to project sites and pre-bid meetings.
