This includes maintaining, changing, and adding data in the appropriate tables that exist in the MMIS application. The Manager will also be responsible for providing expertise to acquire, manage, manipulate, and analyze data.\nKey Responsibilities\nResponsibility #1– 100%\nIdentify process improvement areas and conduct research to determine the best course of action to maintain data integrity and MMIS functionally.\nIn collaboration with others, develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.\nIn collaboration with others, interpret data and develop recommendations based on findings.\nAnalyze and problem solve issues with current and planned systems as they relate to the integration and management of patient, inventory, and system data.\nIdentify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. Perform basic statistical analyses for projects and reports.\nMonitor data dictionary statistics.\nMaintain contracts file.\nDevelop and maintain databases and data systems necessary for projects and department functions. This includes maintaining clean item files free of duplicates and misinformation.\nAcquire and abstract primary or secondary data from existing internal or external data sources.\nCreate and present quality dashboards.\nPerform data entry, either manually or using other technology, when needed or required.\nGenerate routine and ad-hoc reports as needed.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nWork Experience:\nYears of Applicable Experience - 5 or more years\nEducation:\nHigh School Diploma or GED (Required)\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nSkills:\nHealthcare Supply Chain\nData Analysis and Modeling\nCrystal Reporting\nData Mining\nExperience:\nKnowledge of business and management principles involving strategic planning, resource allocation, production methods and coordination of people and resources.\nKnowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services. This includes\ncustomer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.\nEducation:\nBachelors\n\nAdditional Job Requirements:\nRemain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time\nBe adaptive and change priorities quickly; meet deadlines\nAttention to detail\nOperate computer programs and software\nAbility to communicate effectively with audiences in person and in electronic formats.\nDay-to-day contact with others (co-workers and/or the public)\nMaking independent decisions\nAbility to work in a collaborative business environment in close quarters with peers and varying interruptions\n\nWorking Conditions: Hospital Environment\n\nTravel Requirements: No travel required\n\nPhysical Demands: Sedentary: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves remaining stationary most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if movement is required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.\n\nPremier’s compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier’s internal salary range for this role is $72,000 - $120,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location.
