This position provides high-level administrative, analytical, and technical support for two Assistant General Managers, within the General Manager’s Office. The successful candidate will independently manage projects, conduct research, coordinate programs, and ensure smooth operations within their assigned area. The role requires tact, discretion, and independent judgment, with responsibilities often performed with minimal direct oversight. Conduct research and statistical analysis on departmental activities and recommend improvements. Assist in developing goals, policies, and procedures.Administrative & Operational Support - Manage office operations and coordinate administrative needs. Prepare reports, summaries, data interpretations, and other documentation. Assist with budget development, expenditure research, and forecasting. Organize and maintain databases, electronic/physical files, and records in compliance with retention requirements.Communication & Customer Service - Respond to requests for information from staff and the public. Coordinate activities with external contractors and service providers.Executive-Level Secretarial Support – Maintain calendars, schedule meetings, draft correspondence, prepare reports, and manage phone communication for assigned management. Standing and walking between work areas are required. Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer keyboard or calculator and to operate standard office equipment. Positions in this classification bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, and pull drawers open and closed to retrieve and file information. Employees must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects up to 25 pounds.ENVIRONMENTAL ELEMENTSEmployees work in an office environment with moderate noise levels, controlled temperature conditions, and no direct exposure to hazardous physical substances. (Reciprocal agency service does not count toward the 5-year or 10-year vesting requirement for fully paid retiree medical.) The defined benefit is 2.35% at 55 for those with classic reciprocity.
