The successful Unity Developer will have a strong understanding of 3D development and excellent programming skills in C#. Expertise in developing high-performance Windows applications using the Unity Engine, proficiency with the Unity GUI system, and the ability to integrate complex machine logic with precise 3D simulation is a must.\nYou must have an excellent grasp of C# and the .NET framework, strong coding abilities, and be able to problem-solve daily.\nEssential Functions:\nDesigning, implementing, and maintaining Unity HMI (Human Machine Interface) industrial applications\nTransforming design ideas, concepts, and requirements into a functional and engaging HMI\nExperience with Unity's Physics system (Rigidbodies, Joints), using physics queries, such as raycasting, and trigger events to implement precise 3D simulations.\nProficiency in implementing and optimizing collision detection using various Colliders (Convex vs. Concave Mesh Colliders).\nExperience with optimization strategies like convex decomposition or compound colliders to support complex industrial process simulations.\nTesting to ensure the application is free of bugs and performing optimization to ensure it runs smoothly\nBuilding and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable code\nCollaborating with the design team to define, design, and ship new features\nIdentifying bottlenecks and bugs, and devising solutions to address and mitigate these problems\nEnsuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications\nCollaborating with other team members (such as animators, graphic designers, audio technicians) to maintain the visual and functional integrity of the HMI\nStaying updated with the latest industry trends, techniques, and technologies in Unity development\nParticipating in project meetings with other team members and team management\nWork Experience:\nRequired Experience: 3 to 5 years\nProven working experience as a Unity Developer\nExcellent knowledge of Unity, including experience with scripting, textures, animation, and GUI styles\nFamiliarity with scene organization for real-time 3D (RT3D) workflows and industrial simulations\nExperience optimizing memory and space usage for support of older hardware\nUnderstanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application\nAbility to constantly learn and stay updated with evolving technologies in the field of industrial simulation and real-time visualization\nStrong understanding of object-oriented programming\nProficient knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial\n\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment: Physical Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nThe employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk, hear, taste, smell.
