General Laborer

Chagrin Valley Gig is a community-based provider investing millions to build fiber-optic networks to our Chagrin Valley region residents. We are currently looking for a full-time General Laborer to work in the Chagrin Valley region in Ohio. This position offers an hourly range of $18-$23, based on experience and the benefits shown below. Candidates with a high school (or equivalent) diploma and some experience in construction/utility work will be prioritized during the interview process. Also includes:Preparing the work site & cleaning up afterwardsLoading, transporting, & unloading materials/toolsAssisting with drilling fluid mixing & clean-upHelping with utility locating, potholing, and pipe handling-(fusing/joining pipe sections)Operating hand tools and power tools as neededMaintaining a clean and safe work environmentPerform other duties as assigned by the supervisorQualifications/Requirements for the General Laborer:Previous experience in construction or utility work is preferredHigh school diploma or equivalentSkills: Ability to perform physical tasks such as digging, lifting, and loadingTool Operation: Knowledge of basic hand and power toolsSafety Practices: Understanding of safety protocols and proceduresPhysical Demands: Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting, standing, and bendingSafety Knowledge: Strong knowledge of safety rules and regulationsTeamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a teamCommunication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkersAttention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.Compensation details: 18-23 Hourly WagePI15c5f8cc8a09-2589
