Upload a recent copy of your resume.Position DescriptionJob descriptionSummaryThe Site Quality Manager will perform key activities required to assure conformance to customer specifications and applicable codes. The Site Quality Manager reports to the Quality Director, receives schedule direction and priorities from the Site Construction Manager, and works closely with all members of the project leadership team.ResponsibilitiesApplying quality control/assurance specifications, codes, and standardsPerform Receiving InspectionPerform Weld MappingPerform Visual Inspection (welds, dimensions, orientation)Select and schedule Non-destructive Examination (RT, PT, MT, PMI, Hardness Testing)Review of all inspection reports on a daily basisCoordination of welder qualifications testingReviewing of all summary reports and perform daily entries into ProcoreChecking test packages for NDT compliance prior to testingReviewing the site subcontractors testingSelection of item for non-destructive testingControl issue of welding electrodesCoordinate the issue of nonconformance reports through the Quality MangerComplete quality instructions to subcontractors when requiredOther duties as assignedPosition RequirementsRequired QualificationsFive years of quality control/ assurance experience, preferably in an industrial construction/fabrication environmentAssociate's Diploma in related field is preferredKnowledge of NDE methods, including VT, UT, PT, MT and RTAWS CWI RequiredAWS, ASME, ANSI 3-A experience preferredStrong communication skillsProficiency in MS OfficeWorking ConditionsOffice environment - extensive sitting at desk and computer; some standing, bending at the waist, stooping and reaching required; ability to lift 5-20 pounds occasionally.Construction site environment - physical ability to stand, walk, crawl, bend, reach and climb. Exposed to high noise levels.Project schedule of 5 - 10-hour days per week, with possible weekends - temporary role$150 per diem per dayMust be able to be onsite at the project in Nashwauk, MNEqual Opportunity Employer
