It runs on embedded Linux on constrained ARM hardware — seatback units, overhead displays, and cabin servers — installed by IFE OEMs and flying on commercial aircraft worldwide. Once a build ships, it can be months before it's updated.\nThat shapes how we test. We're looking for a QA Engineer who works close to the metal: flashing builds onto real target hardware, pulling logs over serial and SSH, profiling memory on a device with a fraction of your laptop's resources, and catching the defect before it's sitting in seat 32A at 38,000 feet.\nWhat You'll Do\nWrite and execute test plans and scripts against embedded target hardware, not just desktop or simulator builds.\nMaintain and test on physical hardware racks\nRun regression, integration, and system testing across multiple OEM platforms and hardware generations.\nValidate behavior under embedded constraints like limited RAM and storage, intermittent connectivity\nWork with OEM partners (Panasonic Avionics, Thales, Safran/RAVE, Viasat) to validate integrations and platform compliance.\nReproduce defects, run root cause analysis, and file reports a developer can act on without a follow-up meeting.\nRequired\nStrong Linux fundamentals.
