You'll have significant opportunity to lead technical initiatives, improve platform reliability and scalability, and provide product feedback grounded in real-world deployments.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nBackend Systems & API Development\r\nDesign, build, and maintain\r\nscalable backend services\r\nthat support CV/LLM workflows, analytics, and customer-facing applications.\r\nDevelop and evolve\r\nREST/GraphQL APIs , internal service interfaces, and event-driven integrations.\r\nImplement authentication/authorization patterns and ensure secure service-to-service communication.\r\nData Platforms & Analytics Enablement\r\nBuild and maintain the\r\ndata layer\r\n(storage, indexing, retrieval) that supports analytics, reporting, and search across CV outputs.\r\nImplement\r\nstreaming and batch pipelines\r\nfor ingesting camera/edge events and transforming model results into customer-ready insights.\r\nDefine data contracts, schemas, and quality checks to keep downstream systems sane (because data loves chaos).\r\nModel Integration & Serving Collaboration\r\nPartner with ML engineers to\r\nproductionize model inference : deployment patterns, versioning, monitoring, and rollback strategies.\r\nIntegrate CV and LLM services into backend workflows with an emphasis on\r\nlatency, throughput, and observability .\r\nSupport experimentation while ensuring production systems remain stable and maintainable.\r\nReliability, Performance, and Observability\r\nOwn service health via\r\nmetrics, logs, tracing , alerting, and incident response practices.\r\nOptimize system performance across API latency, queue backlogs, database efficiency, and inference throughput.\r\nImprove platform robustness through testing strategy, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code collaboration.\r\nCross-Functional Delivery & Customer Impact\r\nWork closely with Solutions Engineering to translate customer requirements into scalable backend solutions.\r\nTroubleshoot complex issues in production deployments (you won't be alone, but you\r\nwill\r\nbe the calm voice in the room).\r\nContribute to technical roadmaps and platform standards as we scale across customers and industries.\r\nOn-Site Travel and Field Testing (Occasional)\r\nSome deployments are live with major Fortune 500 customers;
