Our platform includes a powerful custom prompting language that abstracts complex ML features and techniques across multiple generative backends, providing users with seamless and intuitive experiences. A large part of our system is the design, coordination, and fulfillment of these requests.\nThe ideal candidate will have experience with databases, queuing systems, and api design, and front end frameworks, and is excited to help grow a working prototype into a reliable and powerful product.\nWe are a small team of people who collaborate regularly and work hard together on interesting problems. We have a modern front-end stack built on Svelte, Typescript, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and Python.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nLead the backend development, owning the components that orchestrate queuing, storage, and retrieval of images and prompt payloads.\nDesign and optimize the GraphQL schema, collaborating with the front-end team to ensure efficient data fetching.\nContribute your expertise to the database schema, ensuring robust data management.\nMentor junior team members and share your knowledge to foster continuous improvement.\nSKILLS YOU’LL NEED TO BRING:\nWe are looking for a problem-solver who is eager to grow and learn. That said you will need to bring a workings set of skills for you to do well in this role. We are looking for 3+ years of experience in the following areas:\nWorking understanding of TypeScript, including modern ES fundamentals, generic types, type narrowing, etc.\nHands-on experience with GraphQL on both the client and server, including the use of dataloaders for optimized data retrieval.\nFoundational understanding of relational databases and architecture.\nProven ability to design and implement scalable client-server systems, including third-party SDKs.\nExpertise with cloud infrastructure, ideally Google Cloud\nNICE TO HAVES:\nYou have experience setting up testing environments and ci/cd systems\nYou have familiarity and interest in the use of generative AI models such as SDXL, Flux\nYou have some knowledge of constraint solvers\nYou have an interest in WebAssembly\nYou have hosted applications on cloud servers with GPUs\nCOMP\nSalary is dependent on experience and skills.
