Must be able to train others in the same role.\n\nJOB DUTIES\n\nCompletes required material issue and returned components transactions on an accurate and timely basis.\nMaintains inventory locations records, recording all inventory receipts, moves and issues. Responsible for racking and locating inbound receipts.\nLoads and prepares and /or unloads shuttle trucks according to departmental and operational polices.\nWarehouses materials according to described policy and assists in the maintenance of FIFO stock rotation.\nPerforms cycle count activities as specified by departmental procedure and assists in preparing and taking of physical inventories.\nResponsible for arranging and completing required paperwork for shipments to OSV.\nMust be able to complete a bill of lading with the correct information.\nAssists in all housekeeping efforts and keeps back pad clean and organized.\nPromotes and follows all lift truck safety guidelines and procedures and is responsible for maintaining certification.\nPromotes and follows all safety guidelines and procedures.\nRecommends safety improvements as needed.\nPerforms various other duties as necessary.\nQUALIFICATIONS\n\nHigh School Diploma/GED required\nMust be certified to drive all types of forklifts and have at least 2-3 years of experience\nMust read and write English and perform simple math calculations.\nMust be computer literate.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\n\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to stand; walk; climb; balance on moving vehicles in standing and sitting positions, operate mechanical moving equipment; and to hear. The employee is constantly exposed to vibration while operating mechanical equipment. The employee is frequently required to bend; stoop; stand; handle; finger; feel; reach forward with arms; and talk. The employee is occasionally required to sit; crouch; kneel; squat; and twist. The employee must occasionally lift, push/pull, and or move up to 65 pounds. The employee must possess the mandatory ability to react and move quickly in case of emergency. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus/accommodate.\n\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\n\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and machinery. The noise level in the work environment is moderate and within acceptable levels. Work is performed inside with moderate amounts of heat, cold and humidity encountered. Inside work can be dirty, with adequate lighting and ventilation.
