Job SummaryThe CRNA is responsible for administering anesthesia and preparing prescribed solutions following the center's appropriate methods and procedures.Demonstrate knowledge and skill requirements regarding his/her role in the Safety Management Program (Safety/Security), Infection Control, Hazardous Materials, Emergency Preparedness, Life Safety, Medical Equipment and Utility Systems, and his/her expected level of participation. Submit documentation of annual updates.Independent and autonomous CRNAInform physician of patient's condition during anesthesiaClinical ResponsibilitiesPreanesthesia assessmentPreanesthetic medicationGeneral anesthesia and adjuvant drugsTotal Intravenous AnesthesiaPost anesthesia care/dischargeJob RequirementsASC experience preferredPrevious experience with anesthesia for pain management is preferred.Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Master's degree in nursingHas a current state licensure to practice as a Registered NurseCertification as a nurse anesthetistCurrent BCLS and ACLS certificationMust be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served in the CenterHours and Working ConditionsOur TX ASCs in Plano and Hurst are open Monday- Friday.
