This role can work a hybrid schedule.\r\nAs the Manager, Engineering Program Management you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of engineering initiatives from concept to delivery. To learn more, visit otterproducts.com\r\nResponsibilities\r\n\r\nTeam Leadership:\r\nManage, mentor, and grow a team of high-performing program managers, optimizing resource allocation across the engineering organization.\r\nLead and develop a high-performing team of Program Managers, ensuring alignment with business activities.\r\nOversee the execution of product development programs through Discovery, Concept, and Development phases.\r\nServe as escalation point for team.\r\n\r\nContinually coach direct reports to drive performance through ongoing feedback\r\n\r\n\r\nProgram Governance:\r\n\r\nDefine and scale program management frameworks, controls, and Agile best practices to improve delivery.\r\nChoose the right product development methodology for the project (Waterfall, Scrum, Scaled Agile, etc.)\r\nEnsure project milestones, quality, and cost targets are met while risks are mitigated and clearly communicated.\r\nActively manage Cost/Schedule/Quality and project scope to original objectives.\r\nLead cross-functional team meetings. Some teams may be globally based.\r\nIdentify and manage project critical path and dependencies\r\nTimely completion of Product Lifecycle gates and milestones\r\nAs the primary project escalation point, quickly analyze/remove roadblocks and resolve cross-functional issues\r\nFormulate and present mitigation plans, options, and solutions\r\nEnsure strict adherence to Otter New Product Introduction Process.\r\nCommunicate project progress via Stand-Up meetings, Weekly Exec Updates, Reports, etc.\r\n\r\nFacilitate retrospectives and after-action reviews.\r\n\r\n\r\nCommunication and Stakeholder Relations:\r\n\r\nDeliver clear, comprehensive program health dashboards, milestone tracking, and KPI metrics\r\nCreate and maintain clear, simple, visual tools for communicating roadmap and project status\r\nIdentify and implement tools and methodologies to optimize program tracking, risk management, and decision-making.\r\nEstablish program management best practices, governance models, and reporting structures to drive transparency and accountability.\r\nAct as key liaison between technical and commercial teams, ensuring insights translate into successful product launches.\r\n\r\nDrive strategic alignment across departments by facilitating communication, prioritization, and risk mitigation.\r\n\r\n\r\nRisk & Budget Management:\r\n\r\n\r\nProactively forecast schedule delays, design mitigation strategies, and manage program budgets.\r\n\r\n\r\nSupport and maintain a positive safety culture\r\n\r\nOther duties as assigned\r\n\r\nQualifications\r\n\r\nBachelor's degree required. Degree in Engineering preferred. Experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.\r\nMinimum of five years progressive experience in engineering, technical program management, or product delivery roles required.\r\nPrevious experience in a mentor, supervisor, lead, or manager role is required.\r\nProven track record of successfully launching physical products to market required.\r\nAgile/SCRUM experience and certifications strongly preferred.\r\n\r\nEEO\r\nOtter Products, LLC is an equal employment opportunity employer.
