Recently raising a Series C and backed by some of the top VC’s such as: Khosla, Kleiner Perkins, and NEA Ventures, our recent expansion into CandyJarTV is only the beginning of our journey to becoming the next-gen entertainment powerhouse.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nRole Overview\n\nThis role supports community engagement and growth initiatives while coordinating an existing network of community moderators.\n\nThe focus is on:\n\nDesigning and executing engagement initiatives\n\nDriving participation in in-app book communities\n\nCoordinating moderators so campaigns and content are aligned with strategy and executed consistently\n\nActing as a brand presence in select community spaces\n\nThis positions the role between a Community Coordinator and a Community Growth Manager, with room to grow in scope over time.\n\nScope of Work\nCommunity Initiatives & Growth\n\nIdeate and execute community initiatives that drive engagement and retention\n\nGrow in-app communities membership and increase participation in book discussions.\n\nDevelop and execute strategies that build anticipation and spark conversations around our upcoming stories.\n\nTest organic growth initiatives (e.g. reviews drivers, sharing competitions)\n\nRecruit and activate in-app community super users\n\nMonitor engagement metrics and community feedback to understand what excites and motivates our users. Use these insights to refine community strategies and initiatives, ensuring continuous growth and engagement\n\nEvent Co-ordination and Campaign Ownership\n\nOrganize virtual events such as author interviews, book club meetings, and reading challenges to keep the community engaged and connected with our stories and authors.\n\nCoordinate promotion of events and initiatives across CRM, in-app communities, and social channels\n\nAlign moderators on campaign goals, timelines, and messaging\n\nModerator Coordination\n\nAct as the primary point of contact for community moderators\n\nCoordinate content calendars, initiatives, and campaign execution with moderators\n\nKeep moderators informed, aligned, and engaged\n\nManage weekly community push notification creation and scheduling in collaboration with moderators\n\nBrand Presence\n\nRepresent established brand voices (e.g. “Galatea Sophie,” “CandyJar Leah”) in light-touch engagement contexts.
