Provides supervision and academic support of students assigned to In School Suspension (ISS). Processes reentry of students to class who are returning from Out of School Suspension (OSS) or ISS. Develops positive relationships with school staff and families while monitoring and mentoring at risk students.

Training on tools and equipment can include giving snowmachine orientations to winter researchers, providing training on using basic power tools such as ice augers and saws, and support using basic lab equipment such as purified water systems, drying ovens, muffle furnaces, chillers, and related.

Knowledge of personality dynamics; principles of life span development; abnormal psychology; psychological tests and measurements; DSM-IV diagnostic criteria/methods; basic principles of neuropsychology and health psychology; principles of learning; behavior modification; individual, family and group psychotherapy techniques; and research methods required.
