Leads process improvement and development activities related to film insulated wire, micro tubing, conductors, and other medical product technologies while supporting operational performance and customer development programs.\n\nAbility to support technical discussions with customers, suppliers, and cross‑functional teams related to process capability, development activities, and manufacturing feasibility.\n\nAssist with process development and design to meet customer product requirements.\n\nProvide engineering support of products as they advance into production.\n\nLead major projects involving capital improvement, process improvement, and new products.\n\nProvide technical and troubleshooting support for operators.\n\nEstablish process parameters and controls.\n\nComplete development builds as assigned.\n\nExecute all required validation activity as required.\n\nSubmit/lead capital projects.\n\nAssist in meeting KPI targets in relation to profit, sales, and on‑time delivery.\n\nEducation / Experience Requirements\n\nBachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline preferred, or equivalent relevant technical and manufacturing experience.\n\nDemonstrates the behaviors required for effective teamwork.\n\nCustomer focus and awareness (internal and external customers).\n\nCollaborative.\n\nDemonstrated ability to drive assignments to completion with a strong sense of urgency, accountability, and follow‑through.\n\nComfortable operating in situations with evolving priorities and incomplete information while exercising sound engineering judgment.\n\nAbility to communicate technical issues, recommendations, risks, and project status clearly and concisely to operators, leadership, quality, and customers.\n\nAbility to coordinate effectively across Engineering, Quality, Production, and Operations to drive timely decision‑making and implementation.\n\nMeets commitments.\n\nShares information.\n\nDeal with conflict in a non‑confrontational manner.\n\nSpecialized Skills / Other Requirements\n\nMust be highly engaged on the manufacturing floor and comfortable working directly with operators, technicians, supervisors, and support functions to troubleshoot and implement process improvements and development activity in real time.\n\nExperience designing, executing, and interpreting development trials and process characterization studies to support new product or process development.\n\nAbility to balance technical depth with practical decision‑making and concise communication in a fast‑paced customer‑driven environment.\n\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills (root cause analysis).\n\nSelf‑motivated and ability to function in a team‑based work environment.\n\nDemonstrated ability to independently lead projects from concept through implementation, including defining next steps, driving cross‑functional alignment, resolving technical issues, and ensuring timely closure while exercising a high degree of ownership and initiative.\n\nAbility to prioritize multiple competing assignments in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment while maintaining focus on high‑impact business objectives.\n\nPrevious experience in leading and implementing process improvement initiatives is highly desirable.\n\nExperience with CAD/SolidWorks, lean manufacturing, PFMEA, and Six Sigma Certification a plus.\n\nExperience working with wire, conductors, medical tubing, process controls, automation, PLC programming, and thermal applications is desirable.\n\nExperience with DOE, statistical analysis, and process characterization methodologies preferred.\n\nEngineering lab experience preferred.\n\nAbility to evaluate and implement new methods and techniques to improve processes.\n\nAbility to research, evaluate, and spec equipment and materials.\n\nTeleflex Incorporated is an equal opportunity employer.
