This role combines hands-on implementation of cutting-edge technology, with effective client & project management skills. You will solve quests ranging from hardware systems and sensor integration questions to flight control problems where you will interact with our teams to help our client bring their drones safely to the sky. You will be our interface to the customer's engineering team.\r\nResponsibilities and Duties\r\nSolutions Adoption:Manage and support the end-to-end implementation of Auterion's technology into the applications & tech stack of our customers.\r\nDeal Support:Provide sales support by coordinating and managing sales-related activities, such as preparing and processing quotes, orders, and invoices.\r\nTechnical Design:Work with the product engineering team on designing and implementing features (on an embedded linux andmicrocontroller/RTOSenvironment).\r\nCustomer Engagement:Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.\r\nTechnical Documentation and Enablement:Closely work with Auterion's product engineering and support teams to further build & grow our product offerings and documentation.\r\nCross-functional Collaboration:work with internal departments, such as finance, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of sales-related activities.\r\nQualifications and Skills\r\n3+ years experience in a solutions or sales engineering role, ideally within startups, scale-ups with experience in robotics technologies an added bonus.\r\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.\r\nProficiency in customer facing aspects of engineering, working and interfacing directly with customers.\r\nUAV piloting experience, with knowledge of drone flight control systems such as PX4 being a nice to have.\r\nExperience with Zendesk and/or other ticketing systems.\r\nExperience in software engineering (C++).\r\nExperience with Electrical and mechanical integration, modification, and prototyping.\r\nMechanical design expertise; 3D printing, soldering, assembly, mounting and wiring of electronic subassemblies.\r\nWillingness to work flexible hours and travel internationally.\r\nWillingness to work with contested countries.\r\nUS Citizenship required, with eligibility to obtain clearances.\r\nBenefits\r\nFlexible working hours\r\nStock Options\r\nUnlimited PTO\r\nHealth Insurance (includes dental & vision)\r\nMedical flex spending\r\nLife Insurance\r\nRetirement Plan - 401k with company match\r\nEnhanced maternity & paternity leave\r\nLearning and development opportunities\r\nAbout Auterion\r\nWe are building the leading software platform for AI-powered autonomous systems for enterprise and government customers.
