Laundry Attendant

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and proper handling of linens, towels, and other laundry items in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential in ensuring guest satisfaction by providing fresh, clean linens and maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation. Previous hotel experience and familiarity with laundry operations are highly valued. Responsibilities Operate laundry equipment including washers, dryers, and specialty machines for dry cleaning as needed Sort, fold, and organize linens, towels, and other textiles efficiently Ensure all laundry items meet quality standards before distribution Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, adhering to safety and sanitation protocols Assist with the pickup and delivery of laundry items within the facility or to designated areas Follow proper procedures for stain removal and fabric care to prolong the lifespan of textiles Support other housekeeping or hotel staff with laundry-related tasks as required Experience Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory Knowledge of laundry processes including dry cleaning techniques is a plus Familiarity with cleaning procedures and equipment operation is beneficial Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a team environment Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads and standing for extended periods This role offers an engaging work environment where professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail are highly valued.
