This role supports the ongoing development and enhancement of an enterprise Power Platform application, including creating new features, reporting capabilities, and system improvements.The ideal candidate is a self-sufficient technical expert who can operate as the sole Architect, Developer, and QA resource for the application, while working directly with stakeholders to gather and implement requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesClient & Functional SupportCollaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirementsCommunicate system changes, enhancements, and options clearlyProvide user support, including guidance on application navigation and functionalityApplication Development & Technical LeadershipDesign, develop, and enhance features within a PowerApps Canvas App using DataverseServe as the sole technical lead for the applicationImplement and maintain Power Automate workflows, including:Scheduled and triggered flowsPower Apps-integrated and child workflowsUtilize advanced techniques such as:FetchXML for Dataverse queriesWorkarounds for Power Apps delegation limitsMaintain and extend Dataverse architecture, including:Tables, relationships, and schema updatesFormula columns and optimized viewsReporting & Data AnalyticsDevelop and maintain Power BI reports, including:DAX measures and calculated columnsPower Query (M) transformationsData visualizations for reporting and analysisProduction Support & MaintenanceTroubleshoot application and workflow issuesProvide ad hoc reporting and respond to user inquiriesMonitor system communications when neededSupport automated notifications and system-generated messagingTesting & DeploymentConduct QA testing in Development and Test environmentsDeploy managed solutions to Test and Production environmentsProject & Backlog ManagementManage and prioritize backlog itemsEstimate Level of Effort (LOE) for enhancementsReview priorities with stakeholdersPrepare and deliver monthly status reportsRequirements5–7 years of relevant experienceStrong experience with:Power Apps (Canvas Apps)Power AutomateDataverseExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsAbility to work independently as a solo developer and technical leadPreferred QualificationsExperience gathering and documenting technical requirementsExperience working in Agile environmentsPrior experience as a sole developer on a projectEducationBachelor’s degree requiredCertifications (Preferred)Microsoft Power Platform / PowerApps certificationsAdditional InformationWork Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.Clearance: Background checks may include Criminal History, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Professional Certifications, and Credit History.
