Senior Accountant

Job description:Job DescriptionUnder general supervision, the Senior Accountant applies knowledge of accounting principles, company systems, and internal controls to support financial reporting and operational decision-making. This role performs complex accounting activities, ensures compliance with company policies, and contributes to the accuracy and integrity of financial results. The position requires the ability to work onsite full-time.Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, including variance explanations Perform complex account reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies Prepare and post journal entries for routine and non-routine transactions Execute month-end close activities and maintain adherence to reporting deadlines Review financial transactions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with US GAAP or applicable accounting standards Utilize SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA to process transactions and generate reports Leverage BlackLine to perform account reconciliations and manage close activities Research and resolve accounting issues, including those related to internal controls Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and analysis Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and process improvements Preferred Areas of Experience Fixed Assets accounting (capitalization, depreciation, asset lifecycle management) Intercompany accounting (reconciliations, settlements, eliminations) Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum of three (3) years of accounting experience Strong understanding of US GAAP or applicable accounting standards Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA Experience with BlackLine Strong Excel and data analysis skills Preferred Qualifications CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or progress toward certification Experience working in a large, multinational organization Exposure to shared services or corporate accounting environments Profile description:Job DescriptionUnder general supervision, the Senior Accountant applies knowledge of accounting principles, company systems, and internal controls to support financial reporting and operational decision-making.
