Facilities Service Worker IV Reports to: Director of Facilities Services Employment Status: 12 months non-exempt Qualifications: 5 years experience in field of maintenance, minimum; high school diploma, desired; valid driver's license and eligible to operate campus vehicles General Description: Performs maintenance duties which relate to the University plant, University buildings, facilities, equipment and grounds operation. Essential Functions: · Repairs equipment and buildings as needed. · Conducts periodical inspections of buildings to determine areas of needed repair. · Makes repairs as assigned by Director of Facilities Services or Assistant Director of Facilities Services. · Keeps informed of new maintenance techniques and operations. · Conducts other duties related to those assigned by the Director of Facilities Services or the Vice President for Administration. · Serve as on call duty person for Facilities Services, as needed.
