This role requires a deep understanding of both software development and IT operations, aiming to bridge gaps between systems, teams, and processes.\nThis position is requires 2 days on-site per week in Sterling, VA.\nResponsibilities:\nLead the design and implementation of integrated systems solutions to support enterprise objectives.\nDevelop and maintain robust automation workflows for software build, test, and deployment processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.\nArchitect and implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline development and operational activities.\nCollaborate with development, operations, and other IT teams to ensure seamless, high-quality software delivery.\nConduct systems analysis and evaluation to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.\nEnsure systems integration aligns with industry best practices and compliance standards.\nProvide expert guidance and support for DevOps tools and practices, facilitating knowledge sharing across teams.\nManage and monitor integrated systems to ensure high availability, performance, and security.\nLead root cause analysis for system issues and implement strategic solutions to prevent recurrence.\nStay updated with emerging technologies and trends in systems integration and DevOps, recommending adoption of new tools and practices were beneficial.\nQualifications\nRequired Skills and Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field and five (5) years or more of related experience in systems integration and automation within a DevOps culture.\nMust be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Public Trust clearance.\nStrong expertise in DevOps methodologies and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes).\nProficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.\nExperience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their management APIs.\nKnowledge of CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.\nFamiliarity with containerization and orchestration technologies.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.\nProven ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members.\nPreferred Skills and Qualifications:\nCertifications in DevOps, cloud computing, or related fields (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Certified Administrator).\nExperience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.\nUnderstanding of microservices architecture and API integration.\nBI Requirement\nCurrent holder of a DHS Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain one.\nNote: Employment will be contingent upon having/obtaining a DHS Public Trust clearance prior to starting.\nTarget salary range: $80,001 - $120,000.
