This role owns the product roadmap grooming process, leads end-to-end program management for New Product Introduction (NPI) and Engineering Change Notice (ECN) initiatives, and provides direct leadership oversight of the Solutions team responsible for third-party integrations, certifications, and customer engineering support.This is a remote position in the United StatesBase Pay RangeThe base pay range of this position is $90,000 to $135,000 USD annually.Please note that the provided range reflects the pay spectrum for positions within the same job category as the one to which this position belongs. Other duties may be assigned as needed.Product Roadmap GroomingReceive, review, and research incoming feature requests and engineering initiatives submitted for roadmap considerationWork directly with requestors to clarify and validate the underlying need, ensuring requests are well understood before moving forwardAssess and organize requests at the feature level, shaping them into clearly defined roadmap items ready for business priority evaluation - not low-level task or sprint planningBrief engineering leadership on prioritized roadmap items, providing clear context on the request, submitter intent, and relevant background to support high-level effort estimation and feasibility reviewNew Product Introduction (NPI) & Engineering Change Notice (ECN)Lead end-to-end project management of NPI and ECN initiatives, owning the full release lifecycle from initial engineering change through to market deliveryCoordinate and drive cross-functional workstreams to ensure all functions are aligned, prepared, and delivering against release milestonesMaintain a master release plan that captures dependencies, timelines, and accountabilities across all impacted teamsIdentify and mitigate risks to release timelines or quality across any function in the release chainDrive continuous improvement in NPI and ECN processes to reduce release friction, improve cross-functional efficiency, and enhance product quality at launchSolutions Team LeadershipSupport and collaborate with the Solutions team manager to keep the team resourced and aligned with engineering and business goalsServe as an escalation point for complex integration or customer engineering issues requiring cross-functional alignmentCoordinate with Product Management to groom the roadmap for 3rd-party integrations, partnerships, certifications, and driversEducation and ExperienceWe have identified the following programs, experience, and knowledge that have helped others find success in this role at TrueNAS.
