Registered Nurse (RN)

Responsibilities: - Provide direct and individualized nursing care to residents based on the application of scientific nursing principles - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement resident care plans - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or authorized prescribers - Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in residents' conditions - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans - Educate residents and their families on disease processes, treatment options, and preventive care measures - Provide dementia care and support for residents with cognitive impairments - Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing - Provide ostomy care for patients with surgical openings in the body - Manage airways and provide respiratory support when necessary Requirements: - Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana - Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred, but associate degree or diploma in nursing accepted - Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred - Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical procedures and protocols - Ability to lift and move patients as needed - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
