The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to navigate efficiently through designated routes.\n\nDuties:\nUse personal vehicle, an SUV or small van capable of carrying at least 150 to 200 pounds of cargo, to transport goods (twice a week) to customers.\nRetrieve air freight shipments from AUS Airport and deliver directly to customers.\nLoad and unload products from the vehicle.\nFollow designated routes and schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.\nCommunicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.\nMaintain accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining signatures and documenting any discrepancies.\n\nExperience:\nPrevious experience in commercial driving or route driving is preferred.\nFamiliarity with warehouse operations, including loading and unloading procedures.\nExperience using pallet jacks or similar equipment is a plus.\nStrong driving skills with a clean driving record.\nAbility to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with moving goods.\nExcellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.\n\nJoin us in delivering exceptional service while ensuring the safe transport of our products!\n\nJob Type: Part-time.\n\nPay: $75-$100 per day, delivery day occurs weekly on Tuesday and Friday.\n\nExpected hours: 2-4 hours per Tuesday.\n\nShift:\nMix of Day shift, Morning shift or Overnight shift.\nShift is comprised of delivering fresh seafood to customers in the Austin, TX metro area.\n\nWork Days:\nTuesday and Friday Mornings\n\nWork Location: In person.\n\nAbout One Ocean:\n\nOne Ocean was formed in 2021 to import sushi-qualityseafood from international markets and sell it to high-endomakse restaurants in New York City.
