The Dolores Shelter Program consists of 4 small emergency shelters, some of which serve homeless men and a recently opened fourth serving the LGBTQ community. The shelter program also includes a kitchen and delivery system that provides food to all the shelters and a local Mission Action supportive housing program. It is the responsibility of the Program Manager to oversee the day to day operations of all shelters and the kitchen. Along with the Director of Housing and Shelter Programs, the Program Manager evaluates the impact and effectiveness of the shelters and establishes long- and short-term goals for the program. He or she oversees the staffing structure to effectively accomplish those programmatic goals and objectives.
