The successful candidate will own stored procedures and data-movement processes that support enterprise applications, collaborate closely with backend development teams, and lead initiatives to adopt advanced enterprise data solutions. This role involves daily coding as well as establishing best practices and standards for the team.\r\nKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers on Microsoft SQL Server.\r\nDevelop and manage complex T-SQL scripts for data movement, including ETL/ELT processes, batch loads, and incremental data synchronization.\r\nOptimize query performance through indexing, execution plan analysis, and resolving issues such as blocking, deadlocks, and long-running jobs.\r\nMaintain database schema changes, deployment scripts, and version control using CI/CD pipelines.\r\nEnsure data integrity, security, and auditability of database code.\r\nCollaborate with the .NET backend team to translate application requirements into well-designed database objects and data-access patterns.\r\nReview and improve data-access code from application sources such as Entity Framework, Dapper, and ADO.NET.\r\nParticipate in sprint planning, design reviews, and code reviews as part of the engineering team.\r\nSupport enterprise data platform adoption by building and establishing reference architectures, connection patterns, and reusable templates.\r\nBuild and deploy enterprise data solutions, including semantic modeling and sample queries, to facilitate business user access.\r\nPrototype and implement additional AI-related capabilities on the data platform, such as vector search and model serving.\r\nWork with business stakeholders to identify high-impact use cases and evaluate outcomes.\r\nWhy This Opportunity May Be AppealingThis role offers the chance to work at the forefront of enterprise data innovations within a collaborative environment.
