This position oversees and manages multiple customer‑related projects, including defining objectives, implementing strategies, tracking progress, and collaborating with cross‑functional team members to achieve success.\n\nEssential Responsibilities\n\nManages projects and teams in a matrixed environment with minimal oversight to support the customer.\n\nDevelops creative strategies to bridge customers’ needs to ITT business practices.\n\nBuilds influential relationships with internal stakeholders and customers through performance and execution.\n\nPartners with sales team to support account strategy and drive sales growth.\n\nEngages with customers to capture requirements, gains consensus among internal teams and leads customer engagements.\n\nProgram management of simple to complex programs: identifying project goals, scope, resources, deliverables, tasks, and timeline.\n\nMonitors performance and progress, identifies potential risks and drives corrective action as required.\n\nCommunicates program status to key stakeholders, both internally and customer contacts.\n\nFacilitates cross‑functional collaboration among the team to ensure alignment and execution.\n\nDefines and monitors key performance indicators to measure program success.\n\nIdentifies potential risks to stated deliverables, drives mitigation strategies proactively.\n\nPosition Requirements\n\nTechnical degree with 5+ years aerospace or defense technical customer management experience.\n\nDemonstrated ability to lead programs or projects in an unstructured environment.\n\nExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse and global employees at all levels of the organization, including the ability to motivate, energize, and enhance performance of teammates.\n\nCreative problem‑solver with the ability to develop win‑win solutions with customers and internal stakeholders.\n\nAbility to gather data, analyze program performance, manage risks, and drive improvements.\n\nPolished presentation and communication skills.\n\nSignificant initiative and ability to develop, implement, and achieve ambitious stretch goals.\n\nStrong SAP competence.\n\nDemonstrated customer engagement and program management experience.\n\nAbility to travel as required to support customers (10% estimated).\n\nLocation\nPreferred location is Irvine, CA and surrounding area.\n\nThis position requires the use of information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
