Eagle – Data warehouse Assessment & Migration Planning Product, Raven – Automated Workload Conversion Product, Pelican – Automated Data Validation Product, which helps automate and accelerate data migration to the cloud.\r\nJob Overview Onix Datametica is looking for a Data Engineer for its Cloud and Big Data projects in the Data Warehousing, Data Analytics domain.\r\nExperience: 8+ Years\r\nResponsibilities Develop data-driven solutions with Cloud based technologies to meet evolving business needs. Deliver impactful, scalable, and highly performant Data solution to our customers based in US, UK, Canada and India based customers.\r\nProvide technical design and develop Extract/Transform/Load (ETL), ELT applications that interface with Datametica's customer applications.\r\nLead and implement data driven solutions and collaborate with larger development teams.\r\nLead and Develop Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Cases to test the cloud based solutions.\r\nRequired Skills and Abilities Approx 8+ years of experience with a proven experience in data platform and big data engineering.\r\nHands-on Experience in SQL is mandatory. Quickly learning skills to adapt GCP cloud native SQL (Bigquery).\r\nHands-on experience in Python is mandatory. Experience in using a Jupyter notebook is a plus.\r\nHands on and deep experience working with Google Data Products (e.g. BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, GCS etc.).\r\nWillingness to continuously learn & share learnings with others.\r\nCapability to collaborate with stakeholders and project leaders to understand requirements, deliverables, and set expectations on tasks that you will be responsible for.\r\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.\r\nAbility to work with business stakeholders and IT team to understand the requirements and quickly translate them into workable solutions using Python and SQL (Bigquery).\r\nExperience working in an agile and collaborative team environment.\r\nExcellent written and verbal communication, presentation and professional speaking skills.\r\nProven problem-solving skills and attention to detail with a commitment to excellence and high standards.\r\nEducation Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.\r\nTravel Expectations Up to 10%\r\nEqual Employment Opportunity It is the policy of Onix to ensure equal employment opportunity in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code 125.111 and all applicable federal regulations and guidelines.
