Candidates must reside within a commutable distance of Philadelphia, PA in order to work onsite as required.\nResponsibilities Include:\nDesign, develop, and maintain middle-tier services and backend components using C# and .NET technologies.\nApply SOLID principles and clean architecture practices in application design.\nBuild robust APIs and business logic layers to support web and enterprise applications.\nCollaborate with front-end developers, architects, and DevOps teams to deliver integrated solutions.\nDesign, develop, optimize, and maintain relational databases (Oracle preferred).\nWrite efficient stored procedures, views, functions, and complex queries.\nOptimize database performance, indexing strategies, and query tuning.\nParticipate in code reviews and enforce best practices for clean, maintainable code.\nTroubleshoot and resolve production issues related to application logic and data layers.\nContribute to architectural decisions and technical design discussions.\nDocument technical designs and implementation details.\nRequired Skills, Qualifications and Experience:\nBA/BS in technical discipline.\n10 years of experience in middle-tier and database development.\nExperience in applying SOLID principles and object-oriented design patterns.\nStrong proficiency in C# and .NET (.NET Core/.NET 6+) and ASP.NET Web API.\nExperience designing and building RESTful APIs and middle-tier services.\nExperience with ORM frameworks (Entity Framework preferred, Dapper).\nStrong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (Oracle preferred, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).\nExperience writing and optimizing complex queries and stored procedures.\nStrong understanding of data modeling and database design principles.\nExperience with version control systems (TFVC and Git).\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nMust be a United States citizen with a DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain a favorably adjudicated T3 investigation.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with microservices architecture\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices\nExperience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)\nExperience with caching strategies (Redis, in-memory caching)\nExperience with performance profiling and monitoring tools\nExperience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)\nExperience with automated testing frameworks\nWork Environment and Physical Demand:\nMust be able to work for extended periods of time at a computer.\nCompensation: $115,000+\nAt AGE Solutions, we reward performance, invest in growth, and share success.
