Supported by experienced mentors, you'll gain handson exposure across engineering and construction disciplines, including:\n\nResponsibilities\n\nGain exposure to structural failure mechanisms;\n\nEvaluate distressed structures and determine root cause;\n\nDecide when repair vs. replacement is appropriate;\n\nDesign repairs that must be constructible, durable, and safe in live Nuclear or industrial facilities\n\nWork side by side with construction teams-not just hand off drawings.\n\nThis position offers future career progression to both our business leadership and technical leadership pathways in engineering.\n\nSkills and Qualifications:\n\nEducation, Certification, and Experience\n\nBachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering\n\nCompletion of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam is mandatory\n\nProfessional registration is preferred\n\n3 - 6 years of experience\n\nTechnical Skills\n\nSolid understanding of how structures behave\n\nWorking knowledge of Finite Element Analysis software such as SAP2000, RISA3D, or STAAD\n\nExperience with AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting/BIM software\n\nSoft Skills\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\n\nEnthusiasm and curiosity for solving problems and understanding how things work\n\nExcellent documentation and organizational abilities\n\nField Work\n\nAbility to travel and work in the field, both locally and outside the local area\n\nCapability to enter secure facilities (e.g., Nuclear and Industrial plants).\n\nStrong focus on working safely in a variety of challenging environments\n\nStructural Technologies is proud of a company culture that promotes 24/7 safety and quality.
