Compensation Analytics Lead
The Compensation Analytics Lead plays a critical role in supporting organizational objectives through the design, administration, and analysis of compensation programs, as well as leadership of key Human Resources initiatives. This role provides advanced analytical and consultative support for salary and incentive programs, market pricing, compensation metrics, and strategic HR projects to ensure competitive, equitable, and business-aligned pay practices across the organization.Essential Job DutiesLeads the preparation and analysis of monthly and ad hoc compensation metrics and dashboards, leveraging analytics to deliver actionable insights that support leadership decision-making and workforce strategy.Drives continuous process improvement by evaluating compensation workflows, metrics, and reporting methodologies; recommends and implements enhancements to improve efficiency, data accuracy, and scalability.Reviews, analyzes, and advises on salary and incentive recommendations to ensure alignment with internal equity, external market competitiveness, and organizational pay philosophy.Serves as a subject matter expert supporting key Human Resources initiatives, ensuring compensation programs and pay practices align with business goals and evolving market conditions.Conducts complex, ad hoc compensation analyses as requested by HR leadership and senior management, including pay equity, job architecture, and workforce planning analyses.Partners closely with HR Business Partners and management to address compensation-related questions, provide guidance, and support informed decision-making.Creates, maintains, and audits job profiles and job documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with organizational structure and market data.Participates in and leads annual compensation benchmarking and market pricing activities, including salary surveys covering pay levels and pay practices.Supports data integrity through regular compensation audits and validation of HRIS and reporting outputs.Assists with the development of clear, effective communication materials related to compensation programs, guidelines, and annual processes.Provides training, guidance, and ongoing support to managers and HR partners on compensation tools, processes, and best practices.Performs additional duties as assigned that support the broader goals of the Compensation team and the Human Resources function.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.A minimum of 7 + years of progressive experience in Compensation, Human Resources, or related analytical roles.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, lookups, data cleaning, and macros.Experience creating dashboardsStrong experience working with compensation and advanced compensation Workday modules.Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present compensation data to diverse audiences.High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Human Resource Management systems, including Reporting, HCM, and Recruiting modules.Experience using Power BI or similar data visualization tools.Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or progress toward certification is a plus.
