What You'll Do Engage with Applied Research (and Research) groups and design end-to-end machine learning solutions that have organizational-wide impact using innovative architectures Contribute to the backend services for Firefly that power the generative AI features on Firefly website, Photoshop, Illustrator, Express, Stock and other applications/surfaces Design and develop GPU optimized, efficient model pipelines for new Firefly features serving a variety of modalities like images, vectors, 3D, etc. Ensure the system architecture and design deliver a scalable, reliable cloud service with observability, logging and tracing to enable quick detection, understanding and resolution of run-time issues Contribute to the architecture and design of the internal AI Inference Platform that will handle and serve a collection of ML models in a highly scalable and resilient system What You'll Need to Succeed A deep and proven understanding of AI/ML, including ML frameworks, public cloud and commercial AI/ML solutions Demonstrated experience with Pytorch, SageMaker, HuggingFace is required Image Processing, Computer Vision, Generative AI experience is a MUST Validated expertise in creation and optimization as well as operation of GPU intensive ML workloads in production environments Deep understanding of model serving, orchestration, scaling and GPU resource management Strong communication and collaboration skills - building strong relationships with internal customers and external partners Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions A passion for staying up to date with the latest trends and technologies in AI/ML - in the cloud and on device A Bachelors, Masters or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Robotics, or a related field, or equivalent confirmed experience FireflyGenAI Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $170,900 -- $325,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job‐related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
