About the Role
Midtronics is seeking a leader to serve as Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. This role is pivotal in shaping the company’s financial strategy, driving operational excellence, and supporting sustainable growth. As a member of the executive leadership team, this individual will play a key role in accelerating strategic decision-making, enhancing financial visibility, and leading transformation initiatives across the organization.
The ideal candidate will excel in building and advancing FP&A capabilities but also have the potential to step into a broader leadership role overseeing finance and other functions.
Key Responsibilities
Forecasting & Modeling
Build dynamic financial models that provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making, evaluate business performance, new initiatives, and investment opportunities.
Develop strong systems for forecasting, scenario modeling, risk analyses and business case development to guide executive decision-making.
Portfolio & Performance Management
Drive portfolio management processes, including performance tracking and resource allocation.
Provide live reporting to assist key managers and speed up actions and decision making that drive performance
Partner with business leaders to link financial outcomes to operational metrics.
Leadership & Collaboration
Serve as a trusted member of the leadership team
Enable business partners with financial insights that drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
AI & Automation Strategy
Lead the development of our AI roadmap within Finance, identifying and implementing AI-driven forecasting, planning, and reporting capabilities.
Champion automation and advanced analytics to improve accuracy, speed, and decision-making across financial processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred).
7+ years of increasing responsibilities within an accounting/finance organization
2+ years of FP&A leadership
Proven track record of advancing FP&A processes and tools.
Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
Proven leadership experience
Communication skills to drive organizational alignment.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
