This position will be in Palmdale, CA, where technology and teamwork come together.\nThe Associate Manufacturing Analyst/ Manufacturing Analyst job duties involve supporting production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment.\nPerforms activities in various cross-functional areas, including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering.\nThe incumbent may facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement.\nIncumbents are generally experienced in one or more areas of manufacturing operations.\nResponsibilities:\nLooking fora The ideal candidate will support Palmdale, CA's F-35 Assembly Tooling organization. Working collaboratively with diverse disciplines in a team-based manufacturing environment,\nthe candidate will execute activities across various functional areas.\nResponsibilities include Tracking daily costs,\nAdministering EVM (earned value management) activities,\nMaintaining visibility charts, and Providing weekly and monthly status reports.\nThe role entails closing and documenting tool orders for PMC assembly tooling, overseeing the validation of incoming materials against the bill of material, and developing internal tooling packages.\nAdditionally, the candidate will liaise with support organizations to negotiate schedules with Production, Manufacturing, and Industrial Engineering.\nDuties encompass ordering and recording chemical usage, ensuring proper inventory within the NGC Chemical Tracking system, and managing tool control and accountability activities, including daily inventory, audits, property, and asset management.\nThe candidate may also handle other manufacturing and assembly tooling-related duties as required.\nThe candidate will be responsible for technical administrative tasks including but not limited to certification compliance, staff meetings, team engagement support, onboarding, concur travel support, and safety focal tasks.\nCore Competencies Manufacturing Methods –\nKnowledge of manufacturing, methods, and fabrication processes (e.g., forming, stamping, machining, heat treatment, machines/machine tools, cutting tools and fluids,\nN/C programming, instrumentation, data acquisition, and control systems). Ability to select the best method of producing parts, tools, or assemblies.\nVerifiable performance record that includes the various aspects of assembly line operation\nProject Management - Successful project management and leadership experience. Coordinate design and fabrication requirements for tools and fixtures with internal and external customers.\nBasic Qualifications\n· Manufacturing Analyst:\nBachelor's degree with 3 years of experience OR Master's Degree with 1 year of experience OR 7 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.\n. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.\n· Ability to work any shift.
