The Specialist contributes to identifying and assessing emerging technologies, organizing and synthesizing research findings, documenting user insights, and assisting departments in exploring practical, AI-driven solutions. Through collaboration and administrative support, the Specialist helps advance the thoughtful and effective adoption of AI tools throughout the organization.The Specialist plays a valuable role in enhancing efficiency and fostering innovation by conducting structured research, developing clear and accessible summaries, and supporting the implementation of small-scale pilot initiatives.ResponsibilitiesAssist with conducting research on AI tools by gathering key information, including features, pricing structures, and technical requirements.Compare AI solutions using standardized checklists and evaluation templates developed by senior team members.Monitor vendor websites and release notes to identify new capabilities that align with organizational needs.Prepare concise, well-structured research briefs for IT leadership summarizing findings and recommendations.Document user experiences from AI demonstrations and pilot trials to support senior staff evaluations.Engage with departments to understand business needs and translate them into clearly defined research objectives.Organize and maintain AI research materials, including notes, screenshots, and comparison matrices.Develop side-by-side comparisons of AI solutions based on documented functional and technical requirements.Track emerging trends in AI-driven productivity and automation, highlighting relevant developments for review.Support small-scale AI pilot initiatives by gathering user feedback, compiling results, and assisting with evaluation summaries.Perform other duties as assigned.
