General Production Worker 3rd ShiftThis role supports multiple entry-level production and sanitation functions on the 3rd shift in a bakery manufacturing environment. You will help ensure dough and pans are consistently stocked, operate or support pan and tray washing and stacking processes, and assist with hand-casing and sanitation tasks. The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting, and comfort working in a warm, noisy, non-climate-controlled facility.ResponsibilitiesSupport 3rd shift production operations, including tray wash, tray stacking, pan handling, and general production tasks.Ensure dough for buns is consistently stocked with pans to keep production lines running smoothly.Operate or assist with pan and tray washing equipment, following safety and sanitation procedures.Perform entry-level production tasks such as stacking trays and handling pans in an organized and timely manner.Operate stand-up forklifts and electric pallet jacks in small and tight areas, if assigned to forklift-related duties, while maintaining safe operating practices.Work in hand-casing operations on designated nights, accurately handling and casing products according to production requirements.Perform sanitation duties, including cleaning equipment and work areas, particularly during designated sanitation shifts.Maintain focus and attention to detail throughout the shift to ensure product quality and safe operations.Follow all safety guidelines when working near ovens, around moving equipment, and when handling chemicals.Stand, reach, bend, and kneel continuously throughout the shift to complete production and sanitation tasks.Communicate effectively with team members and follow instructions from supervisors to meet production goals.Adhere to all facility policies and procedures related to cleanliness, safety, and operational standards.Essential SkillsAbility to work 3rd shift hours, typically 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., Monday night through Saturday morning, as assigned.Ability to stand for up to 12 hours during a shift with minimal lifting requirements.Ability to reach, bend, and kneel continuously throughout the shift to perform production and sanitation tasks.Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay focused in a fast-paced production environment.Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled facility that can become very hot, especially around ovens.Ability to follow safety procedures when working around machinery and when occasionally handling chemicals.Basic production, general labor, or general manufacturing skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow verbal and written instructions.Willingness to work both day and night schedules for sanitation and hand-casing as required.Additional Skills & QualificationsOne year of manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.Experience operating stand-up forklifts in small or tight areas is beneficial for certain assignments.Experience using electric pallet jacks in confined spaces is an advantage.Prior experience in production, general labor, general production, or sanitation roles is helpful.Comfort working in environments with elevated noise levels.Ability to adapt to different tasks such as tray wash, tray stacking, pan handling, and hand-casing as needed.Why Work Here?You will join a high-volume production facility where your work directly supports consistent, quality output. Schedules include 3rd shift hours, typically 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Monday night through Saturday morning for pan handling and general production work. Additional sanitation and hand-casing shifts may run on Sundays from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (days) and on Mondays and Tuesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (nights). The work involves standing for long periods, continuous reaching, bending, and kneeling, and working around industrial ovens and production equipment in a busy, fast-paced environment.
