Weekend Security

The role of a security person at the Fire and Frost dispensary is to be a friendly face at the door to greet our customers and check and confirm valid ID. The security person also should be keeping eyes on the parking lot, cameras, and the sales floor to ensure that our staff and customers are safe. Loss prevention is often deterred simply by the presence of an alert security person. Perimeter checks involve detection of any attempted entry, safety hazards, lighting issues, or other safety concerns. Experience in any branch of the military or law enforcement is ideal, bouncer experience is also good. Our ideal candidate will have a friendly yet firm demeanor with an ability to scan and identify threats. They will have a good grasp of how to detect fraudulent IDs. They will display the ability to deescalate any situation, as deescalation is our preference for the safety of the security personnell as well as our staff and customers. Our shop is a small mom-and-pop shop with a great friendly feel. Our customers love our staff and we pride ourselves on our friendly service. It is not often that the security personnel deal with issues, and most of the time it involves removing vagrants from the property as kindly as possible.
