Field Service Engineer / CNC Service TechnicianLocation: Southern RegionBase Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 depending on experienceEmployment Type: Full-TimeA leading manufacturer of high-precision CNC machine tools to support the metal cutting industry and advanced manufacturing environments is seeking a Field Service Engineer / CNC Service Technician to support distributors and end users to support the southern region.We are seeking candidates who are experienced servicing 5-axis machining centers and prior experience using Fanuc or Siemens CNC controls. Field Service Engineer / CNC Service Technician Responsibilities:Travel throughout the Southern US to set up, service, and optimize a variety of CNC machine tools, including both 3-axis and 5-axis machining centers..Manage on-site service activities by performing installations, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure maximum machine uptime.Investigate technical issues using detailed analysis, implement corrective actions, and communicate solutions and recommendations to the team.Collaborate with customers and internal teams to enhance machine performance, reduce recurring problems, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Field Service Engineer / CNC Service Technician Requirements:Degree in an Engineering discipline or machine tool technology is advantageous however we also welcome applications from people with relevant work experience.Prior experience as a Field Service Engineer working with machine tools or similar CNC equipment, 5-axis machining centers is preferred.Strong understanding of either Fanuc or Siemens CNC control systems. Driving License and willingness to travel across the Southern US to support distributors and end users.
