Our team also excels in custom home design for residential projects.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time role for an Electrical Engineer at Potential Engineering Inc., located in Montrose, CA, with work from home flexibility. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for daily tasks such as electrical design, power system analysis, construction administration, and project planning. The role involves working on industrial, commercial, and residential projects, ensuring all electrical systems are efficient, safe, and compliant with local, state and national code standards.ResponsibilitiesDesign electrical systems, power and lighting.Produce electrical single line diagrams and sketches.Perform site visits to gather required project data for design & arc flash projects.Attend coordination meetings with project parties.Consult with customers to determine project needs.Work with other engineering disciplines to complete projects.Produce panel schedules.Perform Load Calculations.Perform Photometric Calculations.Complete Title 24 Calculations.Designing power and lighting systems to meet customer needs.Must Have QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.Electrical Design and Electrical Engineering skills.Experience in performing field visits to collect data, take measurements and assess site conditions for electrical design.Experience using AutoCAD with basic understanding of Layers, External References and drawing tools.Knowledge of NEC articles utilized for electrical design.
