As a Software Engineer II, you'll collaborate with talented engineers to build, enhance, and maintain critical integrations that connect BILL's platform with external systems. This is an exciting opportunity to deepen your technical skills, solve meaningful problems, and contribute to products that drive real customer value in a dynamic, supportive environment. This role will specifically be working with our NetSuite integration which is considered critical functionality for the business.\r\nResponsibilities\r\n\r\nDesign, develop, and maintain robust, scalable software solutions for BILL's Sync integrations.\r\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.\r\nTroubleshoot and resolve moderately complex technical issues, ensuring high reliability and performance.\r\nParticipate in code reviews, share knowledge, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.\r\nWrite clear, maintainable code and documentation that supports long-term product evolution.\r\nProactively identify opportunities to improve processes, code quality, and team efficiency.\r\nSupport the deployment and monitoring of new features, responding to feedback and production issues as needed.\r\n\r\nWe'd love to chat if you have:\r\n\r\nExperience developing software in a collaborative, team-based environment.\r\nProficiency in at least one modern programming language (such as Java, Python, or C#).\r\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to break down complex tasks into actionable steps.\r\nEffective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.\r\nA growth mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies and best practices.\r\nNice to have: Experience building or maintaining sync integrations between SaaS products and financial/ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, including troubleshooting data mapping, reconciliation, and performance issues in those integrations.\r\n\r\nVisa Sponsorship: Please note that this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above.
