With an industry-leading pipeline of projects, strong financial positioning, and talented employees, we look forward to our bright future!\n\nJob Description:\nGeneral Objectives:\n\nReporting to the Process Superintendent , the Process Operations Supervisor typically works a 4-3 rotation . The Process Operation Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of the process plant and heap leach pad operations , and partners with departments to provide both tactical and strategic support for the needs of the mine to operate in an effective, efficient, and safe manner .\n\nKey Areas of Responsibilities & Duties :\n\nThe key responsibilities of th is position include, but are not limited to the following:\nTakes an active approach in ensuring the health and safety of all Marigold employees in accordance with all regulatory agencies as well as the policies, procedures, and goals of Marigold Mining Company.\nSupervises and develops process operations staff in such a manner that fosters an empowered team capable of achieving high performance standards .\nSupervise and train lead persons and operators in all p rocess areas including but not limited to the heap leach, carbon column plant, stripping and regeneration circuits .\nTrack and order as appropriate supplies including reagents, pipe , fittings, and other related materials.\nMonitor, track and adjust the process plant, leach pad, water balance, and reagent consumption.\nTrack square footage under leach and solution application rate , work with the mine engineering group to coordinate leach pad ore placement and optimize the CIC and strip circuits .\nWork closely with Environmental Department to ensure all Process areas comply with Company, State and Federal regulations and permits .\nCreate Standard Operating Procedures for all Processing areas.\nEffective communication skills with all levels of the organization including site and corporate management required .\nGrow direct reports by objectively reviewing work performance and coaching as appropriate to facilitate their success.\nCreate and maintain effective and professional partnerships with contractors, vendors, regulators, and other stakeholders.\nMaintain professional interaction with all intercompany departments so companywide goals can be achieved.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nRequired Skills :\nWorking knowledge of the International Cyanide Management Code, preferred .\nDemonstrated leadership and teambuilding skills.\nAbility to communicate effectively using all standard forms of business communication.\nAbility to plan and direct work of others .\nCapable of working independently with minimal supervision as well as within a team environment .\nClear understanding and willingness to observe and practice company SOPs and policies .\nAbility to develop and mentor the process operations staff .\nComputer literate and proficiency with common word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and database software .\nExcellent organizational, problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and multitasking skills .\nAbility to provide positive leadership within a production environment .\nAbility to adapt to changes.\n\nRequired Experience :\nA strong safety background is required .\nProven safety and environmental performance.\n7+ years experience in gold processing environment required .\nPrevious supervisory / leadership experience required .\nBackground in Heap Leach Metallurgy, preferred .\nValid Driver License .\nSSR Mining Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
