You will report directly to a Manager or Senior Manager Operations. You will train, coach and council associates, and can have at least 2 or more direct reports. You will comply with operational, audit, safety, and all other company policies. You will focus on meeting customer requirements. You will contribute to the development of processes and procedures.\n\nSchedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00pm-5:00am with flexibility to support business needs\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nCoordinate employee work assignments to achieve inbound and outbound service requirements\nDirect achievement of performance objectives related to productivity, quality, service, and safety\nMonitor workflow, work completed, error rates and related metrics and takes corrective action\nEnsure procedures are observed, implemented, and enforced\nConfirm quality and inspection process is accurate and excess costs are eliminated\nEnsure safe working environment and follows safety regulations\nMaintain accurate time, attendance, and performance management records\nMaintain positive employee relations and morale\nRecommend performance management actions\nAssist in developing and documenting warehouse processes\nEstablish and monitors performance standards for warehouse functions, including pick, pack, and ship\nProcess returned merchandise\nEstablish and monitors performance standards for equipment, assembly, housekeeping, etc.\nDevelop and implements training certification programs and ensures warehouse employees receive training\n\nQualifications:\n\nHigh School Degree or Equivalent required\nFork Lift Certification preferred\n3 years warehouse and distribution operations experience\n1 year experience leading warehouse associates\nAbility to operate a forklift or have the ability to obtain a forklift certification\nStrong knowledge of inventory control processes\nKnowledge of electrical, construction or mechanical products\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nStrong time management skills\nBasic computer skills\nAttention to detail\nAbility to learn and use business planning systems\nResolve problems in a timely manner under stressful situations\nComfortable working in a team environment\nAbility to operate hand and power tools and equipment\nAbility to anticipate and prepare for customer needs\n\nPhysical Expectations:\n\nWork is physically strenuous and workers are required to lift heavy packages up to 50 pounds.\nWork may require excessive bending or stooping.\nEmployee required to climb ladders.\nEmployee required to use hand tools.\nEmployee uses heavy machinery (e.g., forklift, etc.).\n\n#LI-MB1\nCompensation Details $64,653 - $84,048 Annually\nThis amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.\n\nFor eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents.
