Payroll Analyst

We are supporting a well-established North American infrastructure contractor in adding a Payroll Analyst to their team. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this role will be responsible to manage and process payroll across multiple states, supporting both union and non-union employees within a fast-paced, operational environment. Key Responsibilities Include:Process full-cycle payroll across multiple U.S. statesAdminister payroll for both union and non-union employee groupsInterpret collective bargaining agreements and apply wage, fringe, and benefit requirementsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll legislationReconcile payroll data, resolve discrepancies, and maintain audit-ready recordsPrepare payroll reports and support year-end payroll activitiesPartner with HR, Finance, and operational teams to resolve payroll inquiriesContribute to payroll process improvements and documentationKey Qualifications Include:5+ years of payroll experience, preferably in multi-state environmentsExperience supporting union payroll strongly preferredStrong knowledge of U.S. payroll compliance and taxation requirementsExperience in construction, infrastructure, engineering, or project-based environments considered an assetExperience with payroll systems such as ADP, Ceridian, Workday, or similarAdvanced Excel skillsCPP designation considered an asset We thank all applicants for their interest in the posted position.
