This is a contract-to-hire position, with the intent to convert to a full-time internal role after a successful contract period.The ideal candidate will provide hands-on controls expertise to strengthen a team currently facing skill gaps due to retirements and limited controls experience among existing staff.Key ResponsibilitiesPrimary Controls Troubleshooting Diagnose and resolve controls-related issues to ensure units remain online and operate reliably. Troubleshooting will be the top day-to-day priority.Logic and Controls Analysis Investigate logic issues, alarms, and abnormal operating conditions within plant control systems.System Upgrades & Optimization Participate in controls-related upgrades, modifications, improvements, and long-term performance enhancement projects.Project Support Assist with ongoing and new projects related to engine, plant, and system improvements.Cross-Site Support Split responsibilities between two plants; some travel within Nevada is required.Documentation & Runbook Improvement Enhance existing runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and process documentation.
