Cash Services Technician (54723)

Pay Rate: $22.50 an hourSUMMARY: Maintain and repair Multi-Function Kiosks, ATMs and coin / currency processing equipment within the Cash Services Department. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in the minimum quest service expectations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain and repair currency counting, verification, coin wrapping equipment and TITO Redemption KiosksPerform preventative maintenance on all cash services equipmentRepair and maintain bill stacker carts, bill stacker boxes and gaming boxes Assist with internal and external guest service related problemsMonitor repairs of all cash services equipment / furnitureAssist with ATM and Multi-Function kiosk fillsMaintain uninterrupted services of ATMs and Multi-Function KiosksAssist Cashiers in the Vault to maintain an efficient operation as neededKNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIESKnowledge and Certification Required:High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience2-year electronic degree or 3 years electronic / mechanical experienceSkills Required:Accurate and detail-orientedStrong organizational skillsProficient computer skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skillsStrong mechanical aptitudeExcellent problem solving skillsExcellent math skillsPreferred:Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools and electrical/electronic test equipmentProven soldering skillsAbilities Required:Ability to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygieneAbility to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a professional and courteous mannerAbility to independently or as a team complete multiple tasks in a professional mannerAbility to troubleshoot, maintain and repair specialized equipmentAbility to adapt quickly to changing prioritiesPreferred:Proven ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams and identify electronic componentsREQUIRED TRAININGTreasure Island guest service trainingTraining specific the equipment used at Treasure Island such as currency counting equipment, Multi-Function Kiosks, ATMs, soft count currency machine, and other vendor equipment trainingAny position-related training as determined by department managerPHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to walk and / or stand and sit for long periods throughout the dayMust have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend and kneel routinelyMust be able to repetitively push, pull, grip and grasp objectsMust have the ability to independently lift up to 25 pounds occasionallyMust have manual dexterity necessary to manipulate electronic equipmentMust be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motionsMust have good eye hand coordinationWORKING ENVIRONMENTCash Services areas (including Vault), gaming floor and convention center environment including flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smokeMust be able to work in cramped, tight quartersMust be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidaysOccasionally overtime may be requiredOccasionally must deal with angry or hostile individualsHigh volume direct public contact
