In support of their needs, we are looking for:Job Title — JAVA Software EngineerDuration — 6 to 9 MonthsPay Rate — 60/hr to 75/hrLocation — San Jose, California OR Raleigh, NCResponsibilities:The Customer Applications Software Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining web applications using Java, Kotlin and Spring frameworks. The ideal candidate is expected to have proven extensive experience building innovative web applications in Java and Spring framework.What we're looking forA \"can do\" attitude, high energy, and creativity are required along with organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.BS/MS degree or equivalent years of experience5+ years of overall web development experience, preferably secure, scalable web applications using Java/Kotlin, Spring frameworkExpertise with web architecture, cross-platform integration, and building scalable applications in heterogeneous environmentsExpertise in microservices and related to it architectures and patterns, like event-driven architecture, CQRSStrong experience in Java (preferably 17 or later), Spring, Spring boot microservices, Web services (SOAP, REST)Experience with various design patterns and java object-oriented programming conceptsExperience in one or more RDBMS such as Postgres (preferred)Experience in developing/managing REST API’s to support communication between systemsUnderstanding of messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQKnowledge of any cloud platforms such as Heroku, AWSExtensive knowledge and experience with Test-Driven Development and/or Behavior-Driven DevelopmentFamiliarity in using tools such as JIRA, Git, BitBucketExcellent organizational, communication, presentation, and facilitation skillsExperience with industry standard cloud technologies, i.e. Docker, KubernetesAbout Maxonic:Since 2002 Maxonic has been at the forefront of connecting candidate strengths to client challenges.
