This role is highly execution-oriented and ideal for an experienced engineer who is comfortable working across the full stack to rapidly deliver production-ready features.\nYou will be responsible for implementing clearly defined customer requirements that have already been vetted by product and business stakeholders. The focus of this role is configuration, development, integration, and testing of features within Iridia's full-stack web application.\nThis position requires strong hands-on experience with Next.js (React), Node.js, Express, and PostgreSQL, with Python experience strongly preferred. You will collaborate closely with engineering leadership and follow UI/UX guidelines provided by a dedicated UI designer.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nImplement new and existing features within Iridia's customer portal based on approved and documented requirements\nDevelop and maintain full-stack functionality across frontend and backend systems\nBuild and extend APIs and backend services using Node.js, Express, and PostgreSQL\nImplement frontend features using Next.js and React while adhering to established UI/UX guidelines\nConfigure, test, and validate functionality across the full system to ensure quality and reliability\nCollaborate closely with the Director of Engineering and other engineers to ensure timely delivery\nWrite clean, maintainable, and well-documented production code\nTroubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and integration challenges\nParticipate in code reviews and follow established engineering best practices\nRequired Skills / Capabilities:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field\n5–7 years of professional software engineering experience (8–10 years preferred)\nProven experience as a full stack developer, including both frontend and backend development\nStrong hands-on experience with:\nNext.js / React\nNode.js with Express\nPostgreSQL\nExperience building and consuming RESTful APIs\nStrong understanding of relational databases, schema design, and query optimization\nExperience working with modern web-based products and customer-facing applications\nAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, short-term contract environment\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience developing applications using Python\nFamiliarity with UI/UX best practices and experience working from designer-provided guidelines\nExperience with authentication/authorization patterns (JWT, OAuth, etc.)\nBackground working at or with web-based or SaaS companies\nPrior experience supporting enterprise or B2B customer portals\nProven ability to integrate AI-agent–assisted development into production software workflows to improve developer velocity and code quality.\nThis is a temporary position with hourly base salary of $55.00 - $75.00 per hour.
